JOB – Project Coordinator

LOCATION – Southampton

TERM- Permanent

SALARY – £30,000-£40,000, dependent on experience

My client designs and manufactures specialist solutions for Engineering. They are looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team in the Southampton area on a permanent basis.

The Project Coordinator will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Experience working in a similar role for a distributor / manufacturer
  • Experience with quotations, tenders, and proposals would be beneficial
  • Technical knowledge in Engineering, or experience working on Engineering projects
  • Ideally be experienced working with CRM or ERP packages
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organised
  • Able to work to specific requirements and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The Project Coordinator role will involve:

  • Managing accounts with clients
  • Preparing tenders, creating proposals and quotations
  • Working to project specifications and deadlines
  • Documenting activities and analytics to set standards
  • Participating in technical training
  • Working to budgets and timescales
  • Investigating new solutions and areas within which the company can expand
  • Being involved in different manufacturing processes
  • Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
