Job Title: Lead Quality Inspector Location: Leighton Buzzard Job Purpose: Quality Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all manufactured products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and company quality objectives. The role involves conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities: Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of parts and assemblies Use measuring instruments such as callipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) as required Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards Record inspection results and maintain detailed quality documentation Identify and report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in quality audits Liaise with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards Requirements: Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and relevant tools Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Familiarity with measurement and test equipment Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation Strong communication and team-working skills Desirable: Experience with CMM programming or operation Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards Previous experience in the automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering sectors41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
