JOB – Field Service Engineer

LOCATION – London

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a Manufacturer of a variety of products for the retail sector. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the West Sussex area on a permanent basis.

The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Roughly 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a Servicing role
• Understanding of Auto-Electrics and some mechanical skills
• Experience servicing small vehicles such as Dock Levellers, forklifts, Industrial Compactors or similar would be beneficial
• Experience with Hydraulics is needed for this role
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
• Team player who is passionate about their work
• Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
• Holds a full UK driving licence

The Field Service Engineer role will involve:

• Repair and Maintenance of Mechanical/Retail equipment
• Fault Finding
• General maintenance
• Electro-Mechanical maintenance and repair
• Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
• Developing strong relationships with customers
