Job Description
Role- Field Service Engineer
Salary- Circa £26,000 – £45,000 per annum but OTE is higher with travel
Type- Permanent
Location- Leicestershire
My client manufactures electro-mechanical equipment and they are looking to take on a Field Service Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Leicestershire area.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- NVQ / HNC / HND qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar or have the relevant experience
- Any previous field service experience working with electro-mechanical equipment would be desirable
- Good fault finding capabilities
- Previous experience working with drives, motors and CNC’s would be preferred
- Be self-motivated
- Good time management capabilities
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have good communication skills
- Be flexible to travel in the UK and overseas as required
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Working as a key member of the engineering service team
- Providing onsite maintenance and technical support
- Carrying out in house machine builds too
- Providing training of equipment on customer sites
- Travelling to a range of sites when required
- Communicating effectively with customers
- Be able to problem solve as required
- Conform to Health & Safety regulations at all time
