Are you a hands-on IT pro who loves being out in the field and solving real-world tech issues? We’re on the hunt for a Field Server IT Technician to support a range of clients in the Plymouth area. If you're sharp, self-driven, and ready to hit the ground running, this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Installing, maintaining & upgrading Windows/Linux servers
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Performing regular on-site health checks and system updates
  • Supporting backups, patches, and disaster recovery processes
  • Working independently while delivering great customer service
  • Keeping clear records of your work and findings
What You’ll Need:
  • 2+ years in a server/field support role
  • Strong skills with Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)
  • Good networking know-how (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • A proactive mindset and solid problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence + own transport (this is a field role!)
Nice to Have:
  • Certifications (CompTIA Server+, Microsoft, Cisco)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and backup solutions
