Premier Engineering is working with a growing engineering and manufacturing company based in Nottingham that is looking to hire an Engineering Manager to lead their technical team. Experience in FMCG or working with food machinery would be highly beneficial.

The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • A background in mechanical or electrical engineering with strong leadership skills
  • Experience in a senior engineering or management role within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Knowledge of FMCG processes or food machinery is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to manage a team of engineers and technicians
  • Strong understanding of preventative maintenance, equipment reliability, and lean manufacturing
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Confident in communicating with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • Relevant qualifications such as HND, HNC, BEng or equivalent in an engineering discipline

The Engineering Manager role will involve:

  • Leading and managing the engineering team to ensure smooth operation of all machinery and systems
