Business Leader working with Engineers across the UK

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £70,000 to £85,000 per annum (plus benefits)

My client is a leading manufacturer in the energy sector , delivering complex engineered systems across global markets. They are looking to appoint an Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate the design, commissioning, and production functions at their site in Norwich .

The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or General Engineering
  • Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role
  • Background in design, production, and project delivery
  • Strong experience working within the energy, power generation, or renewables sector
  • Excellent team management and communication skills
  • Experience managing cross-disciplinary teams (Design, Production, and Commissioning)
  • Strong understanding of engineering standards, health & safety, and quality systems
  • Proficient with engineering software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project tools

The Engineering Manager role will involve:

  • Overseeing the full engineering lifecycle from design to commissioning
  • Managing and mentoring teams across mechanical design, production engineering, and site commissioning
  • Coordinating project timelines and ensuring delivery to specification and budget
