They are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a technical background to join their team in the Southampton area on a permanent basis.

The Project Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

  • 3 or more years of Project Management experience
  • Background in Construction, Civil, HVAC, Chemical or similar industries
  • Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualification
  • An educational or hands-on background in Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand CAD
  • A background in Construction, Installation, Instrumentation or similar industries would be beneficial
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget

The Project Manager role will involve:

  • Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery
  • Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
  • Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress
  • Presenting project plans and reports to management
  • Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues
  • Delivering and driving projects within the company
