This is a great opportunity for a CAD Engineer to join a successful engineering company, on a permanent basis.
The CAD Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree, HNC, NVQ level qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or similar
- Keen to learn new skills and develop to work well alone and as part of a team
- Any previous exposure to working with building systems, ventilation systems or HVAC systems would be desirable
- Junior level to more experienced candidates will be considered
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent proficiency working with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Revit
- Any knowledge of manufacturing processes would be desirable
You will produce detailed technical drawings to support the design and manufacture of products. There is room to grow within the company. Responsibilities include liaising regularly with other colleagues in different departments, creating 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, and preparing BOMs while liaising with purchasing and suppliers.
