Premier Engineering is seeking a CFD Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Watford. This role involves conducting computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to support the design and development of various products and systems.

The CFD Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in CFD analysis and fluid dynamics simulations
  • Proficiency in CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and aerodynamics
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
  • Ability to perform mesh generation and post-processing of simulation results
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
