My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Sales Manager to join their team in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.
The Sales Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
- An educational or hands-on background in Engineering Degree qualified or further in Engineering or similar
- Experienced in or knowledge of manufacturing industries would be ideal
- Technical Engineering knowledge to understand quotations and queries
- Previous experience supporting customers in a similar technical / sales role would be beneficial
- Excellent customer-service skills and a passion for sales
- Confident and driven for career progression
- Excellent communication skills are required
- Be self-motivated and driven
- Be keen to develop as part of an organisation long term
The Sales Manager role will involve:
- Identifying, generating, maintaining and developing sales opportunities for the company
- Providing technical support and supporting technical delivery of the company’s products and services
- Providing after-sales support for installation and troubleshooting
- Representing the company at exhibitions and client meetings
- Account Management of existing clients
- Handling queries and providing quotations to progress further sales opportunities
- Upselling and developing relationships
- Working with the Projects Team to convert client requirements into details designs and technical instructions
- Processing purchase orders onto the MRP system
- Excellent opportunities for training and development, with room to progress within the company
