My client is an Engineering company in the Renewable Energy sector. They are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Derbyshire on a permanent basis., * Identifying and managing full lifecycle projects, from bid generation to manufacture and delivery

Successfully delivering projects on time and on budget

Producing detailed works schedules, resource and projects plans
-
Liaising with clients as required keeping them up to date with project progress

Working with design, purchasing and production departments
-
Presenting project plans and reports to management
-
Reporting progress, managing risks and responding to issues

Maintaining technical documentation as required

Mentoring junior members of the team
-
Occasional travel as required
-
5 or more years of Project Management experience to Senior or near Senior level

Hold PRINCE2 or a similar Project Management qualification

An educational or hands-on background in Engineering

Experienced in/knowledge of Oil & Gas/Energy/Process industries would be ideal but not required

Technical Mechanical Engineering knowledge

Be able to read engineering drawings / hydraulic schematics

Strong client-facing experience

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once and deliver results on time and budget

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
