Production Operator / Workshop Machinist
Location: Bristol
We're looking for a practical, hands-on Production Operator to join a specialist engineering workshop on a 6-month contract. If you enjoy working with machinery, solving problems, and learning new skills, this could be the perfect opportunity. You'll operate a variety of workshop equipment, including drilling machines, manual lathes and milling machines, balancing components for customers across the automotive and engineering industries. You'll also communicate with customers, use SAP (full training provided), and occasionally operate a forklift.
What we're looking for:
- Practical, hands-on skills with a willingness to learn
- Workshop, machining or engineering experience is desirable but not essential
- Good IT skills and confidence using computers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- A positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
