LOCATION – Glasgow

TERM – Permanent

SALARY - £30,000-50,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client works in the water industry delivering projects for a national client base. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.

The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • At least 2-5+ years’ experience in a similar position
  • NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant subject
  • Experience within the water industry desirable
  • Can understand and read CAD drawings and sketches (AutoCAD and Revit)
  • Background in Mechanical Engineering and projects
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills

The Project Engineer role will involve:

  • Designing and delivering process projects
  • Managing project delivery from sales to client handover
  • Working to client specifications and expectations
  • Overseeing deadlines, budgets and timescales
  • Providing technical controls expertise
  • Some travel to attend customer meetings and site visits
