My client is a Manufacturer of a variety of products for the retail sector. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the London area on a permanent basis.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Roughly 5-10 years' relevant experience in a Servicing role
- Understanding of Auto-Electrics and some mechanical skills
- Experience servicing small vehicles such as Dock Levellers, forklifts, Industrial Compactors or similar would be beneficial
- Experience with Hydraulics is needed for this role
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
- Team player who is passionate about their work
- Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
- Holds a full UK driving licence
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
- Repair and Maintenance of Mechanical/Retail equipment
- General maintenance
- Electro-Mechanical maintenance and repair
- Around 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing
- Developing strong relationships with customers
