Role – Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Salary – £35,000 – £45,000 – dependent on experience Type – Permanent Location – Llandudno My client manufactures bespoke equipment products for multiple industries. They are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Llandudno on a permanent basis. The will ideally have the following attributes: Experience FEA, prototyping and development of equipment or products (essential) Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar 3-5 years of industry experience working in a manufacturing environment Ideally have some experience in a precision industry Knowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation Knowledge of Pneumatics and Hydraulic systems Strong knowledge and proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or similar Experience supervising others or managing teams would be ideal Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances Have excellent communication skills with experience in a customer-facing role Be a flexible team-player Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings Supporting delivery and development of both new and existing products in the R&D team Li…
