My client is a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business investing heavily in its future. They are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their night shift team on a temporary basis of up to 16 months.

The Multiskilled Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Time-served or Level 3 qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (with strong mechanical experience)
  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Confident carrying out fault finding, strip-downs, and rebuilds on production machinery
  • Experience working on conveyors, pumps, bearings, chains, belts, and rotary machinery
  • Familiar with pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, and airlines
  • Able to carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability
  • Some electrical fault finding experience (motors, sensors, drives) is beneficial but not essential
  • Able to work independently and make decisions on nights with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working a permanent night shift pattern
