ROLE – Engineering Manager

SALARY – £45,000- £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience

TYPE – Permanent

LOCATION – Kidderminster

My client is a specialist manufacturer and they are looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team in the Kidderminster area on a permanent basis.

The Engineering Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• Experience in a similar Design Manager/ Engineering Manager role previously
• Degree qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency with using SolidWorks and Vault or similar
• Previous exposure to using MS Project would be ideal
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Engineering Manager role will involve:

• Leading and developing the design team
• Managing the delivery of engineering tasks / communicating with vendors and partners
• Driving continuous improvement in the department
• Directly managing reports, setting KPI’s and carrying out reviews and training as required
• Designing and detailing drawings using 3D CAD software
• Supporting other platform design teams as necessary through collaboration with colleagues
• Ensuring all work meets the relevant standards
• Ensuring compliance with ISO standards
