Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Installation Engineer

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience, please advise)

Type: Permanent

Location: Cornwall

My client works within the renewable energy sector and they are looking to take on an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Cornwall area.

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

1. HNC/ NVQ/ C&G qualified or similar in Electrical Engineering or have 18th Edition
2. Excellent hands-on servicing or maintenance experience
3. Any previous exposure to working with Photovoltaic systems would be preferred
4. Be confident in responding to faults
5. Have a methodical approach to work
6. Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
7. Have good communication skills both verbal and written
8. Excellent problem-solving skills
9. Flexible to travel across the UK for jobs when required
10. Flexible to work weekends if needed as part of the role

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will involve:

1. Carrying out maintenance on renewable energy sites
2. Having a problem-solving approach to responding to faults
3. Completing job reports as required
4. Helping to make improvements on ongoing operation
5. Completing installations
