Premier Forex Ltd is a UK FCA-Authorised Payment Institution and HMRC-registered Money Service Business, headquartered at 17 Hanover Square, London. We specialise in cross-border payments, foreign exchange, and wholesale remittance services across key corridors including the UK, GCC, Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. PFX serves institutional and business clients β€” including banks, MSBs, and corporates β€” offering API-driven payment infrastructure and bespoke FX solutions.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for a driven individual β€” whether at the start of their career or with some relevant experience β€” who wants to build a career in financial services, payments, and international business. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new client relationships, attending meetings and industry events across London and beyond, and contributing directly to PFX's commercial growth. The role is largely field-based; you will be expected to be active in the market, meeting prospective clients, partners, and intermediaries on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research new business opportunities across PFX's target markets and corridors (UK, GCC, Africa, South Asia)
  • Generate and qualify leads through direct outreach, networking, industry events, and digital channels
  • Attend client meetings, industry conferences, and trade events to represent PFX and develop relationships
  • Support the onboarding of new MSB, corporate, and institutional clients by coordinating with Compliance and Operations
  • Build and maintain a CRM pipeline; track interactions, follow-ups, and deal progress
  • Assist in preparing pitch materials, proposals, presentations, and capability documents for prospective clients
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in PFX's corridors
  • Support the development of marketing content including social media posts, newsletters, and company communications
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and Operations teams to ensure all new business is within regulatory and AML requirements
  • Provide regular reporting on BD activity, pipeline status, and market intelligence to senior management

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, International Relations, or a related discipline
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills β€” written and verbal
  • Commercially aware with a genuine interest in financial services, payments, or fintech
  • Confident and comfortable meeting clients and attending external events as a representative of PFX
  • Self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort with digital tools
  • A collaborative team player with a professional and proactive attitude

Desirable:

  • Prior experience in financial services, payments, banking, or a B2B sales or business development role
  • Familiarity with FCA-regulated firms, MSBs, or cross-border payments
  • Proficiency in Arabic, Urdu, Pashto, Farsi/Dari, or another language relevant to PFX's corridors (GCC, Africa, South Asia, Afghanistan)
  • Experience using a CRM platform (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Understanding of AML, KYC, or compliance basics in a regulated financial environment

Compensation & Incentives:

  • Base salary from Β£28,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
