Job Vacancies: Bench Joiner/Machinist/Trainee Machinist
Premier Forest Products are currently recruiting a Bench Joiner/Machinist/Trainee Machinist within our Mon Timber workshop in Newport.
The workshop produces doors, windows, screens, oak trusses, mouldings and other bespoke items, along with machining claddings and various other profiles. For this role you must have previous experience with spindle moulders and multi head moulders. We require you to have a qualification reflective of this role (wood occupations) or be time served; additionally experience using a forklift, along with having a current and valid FLT licence would be advantageous.
What you will be doing…
• Setting up moulders
• Machining hardwoods/softwoods
• Maintaining the woodworking machinery
• Other tasks relating to the workshop
