Job Title: Production and Waste Control Coordinator
Contract:6-Month Temporary Role
Hours:4 days per week, 6 hours per day (09:00–15:00, flexible where needed)
Location:Ambrosia, Lifton
Salary: £16,715.52
We’re looking for aYieldImprovementCoordinatorto support the Ambrosia team in improving production performance and efficiency. This 6-month temporary role will focus on reducing waste, improvingyield, and supporting continuousimprovementprojects across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Review and verifymass balance datato ensure accuracy and consistency.
Lead and facilitatewastage meetingswith production teams, highlighting key issues and driving actions to improveyield.
Work directly on the production linewith the operations team tooptimise running conditionsand enhance performance andyield.
Collect, track, and analyse datato identify trends, losses, and opportunities forimprovement.
Collaborate with production and technical teams todevelop and implement corrective actions.
ApplyContinuousImprovementtools and techniques(such as root cause analysis, PDCA, and 5 Whys) to deliver sustainableimprovements.
Provideregular updates and reportson progress and key findings.
Help build a culture of accountability and continuousimprovementacross production areas.
About You
Experience in a food manufacturing or production environment.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident working with data to identify and communicate opportunities.
Hands-on and proactive, comfortable working alongside operations teams.
Good communicator who can engage and motivate others.
Familiarity with ContinuousImprovementtools (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) is a plus.
Proficient in Excel or other data analysis tools
