Quality and food safety at the forefront. Continuous improvement at the core.

We’re looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join Premier Foods at our Worksop site at an exciting time for the business. With significant investment going into the site, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a large and complex manufacturing operation and play a key role in shaping how we work, raising standards and driving meaningful change.

You’ll lead the site quality and food safety agenda, ensuring our products are safe, legal, authentic and right first time, while building quality capability and ownership across the factory.

But we’re looking for more than technical quality expertise. A strong Continuous Improvement mindset and practical CI experience are a must. You’ll understand how quality, operational performance and commercial priorities fit together and take a balanced, pragmatic approach to improving performance.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead quality and food safety standards across the site.
  • Put quality and food safety at the heart of operational decision-making.
  • Use CI tools, data and insight to identify losses and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Influence cross-functional teams, challenge effectively and drive change across a complex operation.
  • Lead investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Build a strong quality culture and greater ownership within factory teams.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Quality team.

What we're looking for

  • You’ll bring strong Quality Management experience from a large, complex food or FMCG manufacturing environment, combined with:
  • Hands-on Continuous Improvement experience and mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety, FSQMS and factory quality controls.
  • The ability to influence, challenge and take people with you through change.
  • A commercial mindset, balancing quality, food safety and operational performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis capability.
  • Proven experience leading and developing Quality teams.

Experience of BRCGS, retailer standards, Lead/Internal Auditing or Advanced HACCP would be an advantage.

It’s a great time to join Worksop. With major investment in the site, you’ll have the opportunity to influence change, improve how we operate and make a visible impact on quality, food safety and performance.

If you're a Quality leader who thinks commercially, thrives on continuous improvement and knows how to turn high standards into better performance, we'd love to hear from you!
