Premier Foods, one of the UK's leading food manufacturers, is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Advisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting our colleagues and managers, driving positive change, and shaping the future of our business.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing effective HR advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance, and flexible working.
- Building strong relationships with managers and trade union representatives, supporting the devolvement and ownership of people matters.
- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding for support roles, working closely with hiring managers and external agencies to ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Supporting the HR team with more complex employee relations cases and driving improvements in onboarding and exiting processes.
- Monitoring people KPIs, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve absence, retention, and turnover.
- Leading on absence management, ensuring a consistent approach across the site.
- Collaborating on site engagement and communication strategies to foster a positive and inclusive workplace.
What we're looking for:
- CIPD Level 3 qualification
- At least 2 years' experience in a HR team, with a track record of advising managers on day-to-day HR queries
- Demonstrative employee relations knowledge with previous case management experience
- Strong data collection and trend identification skills
- A collaborative team player with great time management
