Overview
In this Front Line Leader role, you will guide a production line team to meet overall site targets and KPI goals, focusing on efficiency, waste reduction, and cost control.
You’ll ensure lines run at required performance, keep SOPs current, and lead daily briefings while maintaining safety and quality standards.
You will act as a link between operations and management, escalating issues and implementing solutions to keep production on track.
This is a hands-on leadership position in a busy manufacturing environment with a focus on continuous improvement and reliable manufacturing execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily line briefings for all shifts
- Maintain and share shift information via communication boards
- Ensure lines meet performance, OEE and waste targets
- Update and enforce SOPs; ensure audit readiness
- Coordinate labour and leave to align with production demands
- Escalate issues with practical solutions to management
- Provide performance management and attendance oversight
- Handle investigations and disciplinary actions as required
- Support reduction of Manufacturing Controllable Costs (MCC)
- Maintain safety and CI-related practices on the line
