We are recruiting for a Project Engineering Manager to join our established Engineering department at our Mr Kipling bakery in Stoke on Trent, where we make the nation's favourite Mr Kipling cakes.
Responsibilities include:
- Development of a pipeline of suitable projects, including leading and engaging end users in the development of engineering scope.
- Develop functional design specifications in compliance with engineering & Premier specifications.
- Management of all health and safety aspects of capital projects (e.g. reporting of project progress; tracking of milestones, activity, priorities, financials).
- Ensure compliance at pre-delivery milestones to user acceptance test protocols.
- Manage key resources through to project delivery.
- Manage post-delivery process including installation, commissioning, training, etc.
Requirements:
- An Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of Food/FMCG background.
- Extensive capital project management experience with a customer focus.
- Demonstrable record in successful delivery of engineering capital projects in FMCG with particular emphasis on specification/integration/implementation.
- CAD literate and MS Project proficient.
- Demonstrable control system and PLC design/specifications experience.
