Premier Foods Stoke, the home of the nation's favourite Mr Kipling Cherry Bakewells, has an exciting opportunity for a Front Line Manager to join our team. In this role you will ensure optimum utilisation of plant, raw materials, and people, to produce quality product at minimum cost, which meets customer requirements and complies with legislation.
What you'll be doing:
- Provide inspirational leadership across your area and contribute to the wider site leadership team
- Drive a food safety and quality culture, ensuring compliance with BRCGS, ISO45001, ISO14001, and all regulatory standards
- Take full operational ownership for Safety, Quality, Cost, People, and Service performance
- Lead and deliver site KPIs, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and performance improvement
- Work with CI and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic plans and operational policies in collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Lead customer and third-party audits, maintaining compliance and site certifications
- Support and deliver capital expenditure projects on time and in full
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
