Shift - Pattern: 3on, 3off, 3on, 5off (18:00 - 06:00) 36.5 hours
Working: Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Purpose of the Role Responsible for assuring the site has controls of its processes and that Product Quality is maintained.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
SAP transactions/tracker completion. (Concessions, Product Holds, Date changes) Production of test packs and the issuing of packs or test pieces to the site.
Completion of internal audits (e. g.
Process Compliance & Process pack audits).
Carrying out daily line walks and issuing Be Food Safe observations as required.
Completion of process verification checks.
Completion of Validations (e. g.
Metal Detectors, X Rays) Escalating non-conformances as required.
Assisting with investigations or corrective action completion for non-conformances/customer complaints as required.
Carrying out plant training assistance as required.
Swabbing as required (Plant Swabs, Hand Swabs, etc).
Any other reasonable tasks, as requested by the QA Manager.
Person Specifications
Technical skills/Qualifications/Experience
Essential: Intermediate level - HACCP.
Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or relevant Food manufacturing experience.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to short term demands.
Good team working skills and experience of working across multi disciplines.
Leadership skills
Desirable: Degree or equivalent in relevant technical discipline.
Understanding of statistical process control.
Driving Licence
