Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP PM Specialist on a fixed-term, part-time basis to lead essential improvements to our SAP Planned Maintenance (PM) structure. This role will be critical in aligning our PPM task lists with Ignition-based Smart Factory standards and restructuring our functional location hierarchy to accurately reflect on-site assets.
Working collaboratively with internal teams, this specialist will help unlock the full potential of digital maintenance execution while upskilling our Scheduling Coordinator for sustained impact beyond the contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and restructure PPM task lists to align with Ignition system requirements and digital workflows.
- Rationalise and rebuild SAP PM functional locations to reflect true asset hierarchies and operational layout.
- Integrate early failure mode tracking to support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with and coach the Scheduling Coordinator to enable sustainable system management after the contract concludes.
- Cleanse and align SAP data to enhance maintenance reporting, cost tracking, and top loss analysis.
- Support the rollout of tablet-based maintenance execution by ensuring SAP structures are fit-for-purpose.
Required Experience & Skills
- Demonstrable experience with the SAP PM module, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of task list configuration, functional location hierarchy, and asset data structures.
- Knowledge of reliability-centred maintenance, failure modes, and digital maintenance solutions (e.g. Ignition).
- Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues in SAP PM functionality.
- High level of accuracy, initiative, and ability to work independently within a part-time schedule.
