Job Title Production and Materials Planner
Location Ashford, TN24 0LU
Salary Up to £35k per annum dependant on experience
Hours Full Time 37.5 hours per week, 12 Month Fixed Contract
As our next Production and Materials Planner you will help to ensure the timely delivery of materials, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining inventory levels to support product without overstocking. It’s a role that requires foresight, agility and excellent communication. Coordination of production timelines, resources, and workforce availability to ensure manufacturing runs efficiently. While daily and weekly tasks focus on immediate priorities, monthly activities emphasize longer term planning, performance tracking, and process improvements.
The successful candidate will
  • Provide support to the wider on-site supply chain
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers on delivery schedules and deviations to plan
  • Interface with the engineering teams and shutdowns
  • To oversee the inventory for materials volume and values
