As our next Procurement Manager – Capital Projects, you\’ll lead procurement activities for projects within Premier Foods\’ Sweet Treats (Cake) division, covering three manufacturing sites. You will oversee a capital spend of £35M for FY25/26, working closely with stakeholders from divisional directors to site teams. Your responsibilities include sourcing equipment, civil works, and related services, from machinery to high-value projects.
You will play a key role in delivering the Capital Change Programme, aiming to transform procurement practices to improve efficiency, governance, and value in capital equipment sourcing. Experience in capital procurement within the food and/or FMCG sector, including equipment, services, and civil works, is essential. Knowledge of MRO parts and services is advantageous.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to Premier Foods\’ strategic increase in capital expenditure from £20M to £100M. You will be instrumental in overhauling procurement processes to enhance efficiency and value, ideal for a proactive individual eager to develop into a future leadership role within our Procurement team.
