About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Hygiene Operative / Cleaner to join our team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is offered on an initial 6-month contract, with the opportunity for extension or a permanent position based on performance and business needs. As a member of our Hygiene Team, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout production and ancillary areas.
- Clean and sanitise production equipment, machinery, workstations, and communal areas.
- Follow all health, safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals in accordance with company guidelines.
- Complete cleaning schedules and documentation accurately.
- Support other departments as required to meet operational needs.
- Identify and report any hygiene, safety, or maintenance concerns.
- Contribute to creating a safe and clean working environment for all colleagues.
