HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental strategy at our Moreton site, driving a positive safety culture and ensuring we maintain the highest standards across our operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused HSE professional who can influence at all levels, champion continuous improvement and help shape the future of safety and environmental performance across the site.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the site's Health, Safety and Environmental strategy in line with legal, regulatory and business requirements.
  • Driving a positive behavioural safety culture through engagement, coaching and leadership.
  • Delivering HSE improvement plans and performance programmes.
  • Monitoring, analysing and reporting on HSE performance to support business objectives.
  • Leading site environmental initiatives and compliance programmes.
  • Managing and developing the HSE team to maximise performance and capability.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure compliance standards are maintained and continuously improved

What we need from you

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical HSE knowledge with excellent leadership and influencing skills.

You'll ideally have

  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Internal Auditor training.
  • Experience developing policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Experience delivering HSE training and driving behavioural change.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships across all levels of an organisation.
