As Business Development Manager at Premier Analytical Services (PAS), you will play a pivotal role in growing our analytical testing and laboratory services by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with customers across the food and related industries. This is not a traditional product sales role. Instead, you'll work closely with our laboratory and technical teams to understand customers' analytical requirements, promote our extensive laboratory testing capabilities, and develop tailored service solutions that help them meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
Working collaboratively across the business, you'll identify opportunities to expand our analytical service offering, deliver sustainable commercial growth, and support the successful delivery of our Sales and Marketing Plan. What You'll Be Doing
- Driving the growth of Premier Analytical Services by promoting PAS's analytical testing and laboratory services to existing and prospective customers.
- Developing and delivering new business opportunities aligned with our laboratory capabilities and strategic growth objectives.
- Building trusted relationships with customers, understanding their analytical testing requirements, and identifying solutions that add value.
- Working closely with laboratory, technical and operational teams to ensure customer needs are translated into effective service delivery.
- Developing and maintaining a sustainable five-year sales strategy aligned with business objectives and future laboratory capability.
- Identifying opportunities to expand PAS into new markets and industry sectors where our analytical expertise can provide value.
- Strengthening the PAS brand through targeted marketing and business development activities.
- Collaborating with the Customer Service Manager to ensure a seamless customer journey from enquiry through to service delivery.
- Leading, mentoring and developing the Customer Services Team to maximise customer engagement and business opportunities.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity and emerging analytical requirements to identify future growth opportunities.
