We have introduced the QA administrator to support the Area Quality Leads (AQLs) and wider technical function in maintaining site compliance by ensuring accurate, timely completion of quality documentation, audits, and verification activities. The role provides essential coordination and administrative support to uphold food safety, due diligence, and audit readiness standards across the site.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation, including SOPs, line standards, and controlled records, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
  • Actively contribute to Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings, providing quality performance updates and escalating food safety or quality risks.
  • Support Area Quality Leads with Quality Incident Reporting (QIR), ensuring incidents are logged, tracked, and closed out in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, ensuring accurate data collection and effective tracking of corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and support traceability exercises and mock recalls, including documentation collation and completion.
  • Manage site quality controls including held stock records, glass and hard plastic audits, sampling plans, and retention samples.
  • Conduct GMP audits and support CCP verification, validation, and wider audit readiness activities in line with HACCP, BRCGS, and customer requirements.
  • Ensure quality documentation, SOPs, and line standards are consistently accurate, up to date, and maintained to an audit-ready standard, supporting positive internal and external audit outcomes.
  • Food safety and quality risks are proactively identified, clearly communicated through DDS, and escalated in a timely manner to prevent incidents and non-conformances.
  • Quality incidents are logged, investigated, and closed out on time, with RCA actions tracked and completed to prevent recurrence.
  • Traceability exercises, mock recalls, held stock processes, and quality controls.
