We are looking for a highly skilled 3rd Line Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic Technical Services Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional IT service. You will be the on-site face of IT, ensuring smooth operations and supporting critical projects across our sites. It is essential you are already working as a 3rd line support or have previous experience working as one.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the on-site technical representative for IT, resolving incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
- Maintain and optimise infrastructure performance, ensuring resilience and security.
- Deliver upgrades and maintenance in line with manufacturer recommendations.
- Document fixes, changes, and processes in accordance with IT Security Policy and change control.
- Collaborate across teams and with third parties to ensure seamless technical operations.
- Provide innovation and advice on technologies supporting Premier Foods environments.
- Travel to other UK sites as required.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience in 3rd line technical support.
- Strong knowledge of networking (SD-WAN, Aruba/Cisco), firewalls (Fortinet), and WiFi infrastructure.
- Expertise in Microsoft technologies (AD, MECM, InTune, AutoPilot), Okta, and AWS.
- Hands-on experience with VMWare/Nutanix, scripting (PowerShell), and certificate management.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Strong understanding of ITIL practices and experience in manufacturing environments.
- Degree-level education preferred.
