Who Are The Menu Partners and What Do We Do? The Menu Partners is a diverse food business supplying hotels, pubs and restaurants up and down the UK with whole, prepared or cooked food. The Menu Partners are looking for a Goods-In/Forklift Operative to join our team in London. If you are passionate about consistently providing high quality service then this is the role for you. You will be professional and safety conscious in your outlook, with a helpful and productive attitude.
Note: This is a Night role- 10pm-7am
As a Goods-In Operative some of your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a forklift to load, unload and move stock around the site.
- Providing an efficient and courteous first point of contact for all delivery personnel and third-party couriers in line with department best practice.
- Ensuring full compliance with the relevant policies and procedures set out by the company.
- Processing paperwork accurately and efficiently in line with departmental policy and set procedures, which will allow you to identify and check goods, sign them, and maintain an accurate log.
- Coordinating deliveries efficiently to the relevant departments throughout the building.
- Liaising with other departments and suppliers, raising discrepancies when they arise and alerting departments upon receipt of urgent supplies or samples to ensure they are available to meet business and customer requirements.
- Assisting with stock checks when required, ensuring all stock movements are accurately recorded.
- Ensuring the goods in/holding area is kept safe, secure, clean and organised and where applicable in line with company best practice.
- Helping to manage waste throughout the building from the kitchen/goods in side, ensuring we keep a clean and tidy site.
