Who Premier Foods Wholesale and What Do We Do? Based in the iconic New Covent Garden Market, Premier Foods Wholesale sources premium produce from over 40 countries, ensuring year-round availability of the finest fruit and vegetables. As part of our continued growth, we are currently looking to recruit Class 2 Drivers to strengthen our Transport team at our London depot.
About The Role
We are looking for motivated and professional Class 2 Drivers (Category C) to join our Transport team based at our London depot. This is a multi-drop delivery role, working with premium hospitality customers including restaurants, hotels, and professional kitchens. You will play a key role in representing Premier Foods Wholesale on the road, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
Working Hours
Early starts 2-6 am, 10-12 hours working per day, 5-6 days rotating weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure you are fully briefed for your run and issued with all relevant delivery documentation
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to restaurants, hotels, and kitchens across your route
- Follow delivery instructions carefully and respectfully at all customer locations
- Use handheld devices (Vanlogic) to record deliveries and capture PODs/photos
- Carry out vehicle checks at the start and end of shifts and report any defects
- Communicate any issues or delays to the Transport team in real time
- Unload and place goods into correct storage areas (fridges, freezers, dry stores)
- Keep your vehicle clean, fuelled, and ready for the next shift
About You
- Hold a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence with at least 1 year’s experience
- Hold a valid Digital Tachograph card and Driver CPC qualification
- Experienced in multi-drop delivery driving
- Reliable, professional, and hardworking with a positive attitude
- Able to handle goods carefully and deliver into busy professional kitchens
- Strong communicators and team players
