We have an opportunity to join our Technical team in Lifton as a Technical Auditor on a permanent, part-time basis, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 14:30, with flexibility required to support audits and validations out of hours.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Audits, supporting the team in identifying the root cause and preventative measures to any actions identified.
  • Conducting HACCP reviews with our multi-disciplinary team.
  • Regularly auditing Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring processes are being consistently followed and product safety is maintained.
  • Undertaking traceability exercises of our Finished goods and raw materials
  • Maintaining the quality management system via scheduled reviews of internal systems, retailer policies & certification standards.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with site teams and external service providers.
  • Supporting the maintenance and development of site Integrity systems. xgikmsk
  • Supporting with external audits, providing information, and driving the close out of non-conformances that may be raised.

What we need from you

  • Excellent communication Skills
  • The ability to work independently to deadlines is essential
  • A good understanding of Microsoft office applications
  • Experience in auditing, ideally in Food Manufacturing, would be advantageous although full training will be provided
  • Awareness of Food Safety, HACCP and Allergens
  • A desire to undertake training and development
