Monday - Friday, 37.5 Hours Per Week

We are searching for an experienced Operations Manager for our highly automated food manufacturing site in Devon, which produces ambient milk-based desserts for brand and own label customers, using both UHT and Retort technology. The site runs 24/7 and employs over 300 people with circa 200 reporting into the operations department, so you will assume a key role in the Lifton Site Leadership Team. You will report into the Factory General Manager and lead an operations team which currently comprises of five direct reports who manage production, raw materials, goods in and dispatch.

The main purpose of the role is to:

  • Ensure the weekly production plans are achieved at maximum efficiency and long-term objectives and actions are in place to continually improve performance.
  • Drive, support & further develop the processes & systems necessary for continuous improvement with regards to health & safety, quality and production KPI's.
