JOB PURPOSE
To provide the appropriate technical expertise to support adherence to the Food Safety Quality Management System, manage the Operating Specification system and provide data analysis with the aim of ensuring compliance to required standards and improving quality, performance and costs.
- Support the Technical Compliance Manager with the development of the site FSQMS.
- Proposes continuous improvement initiatives for the FSQMS.
- Support the Product Launch Co-ordinator with the development of Operating specification are accurate and available on plant as required.
- Improve communication of Technical KPIs and essential updates to the site including creations of site FS&Q KPI data.
- Production of all Technical KPIs reports required by the business.
- Reports and trends on gathered data, creating IT based solutions where applicable.
- Complete GAP analyses against customer codes of practices.
- Gives FS&Q Compliance advice based on current policies, procedures and risk assessments as part of the FSQMS.
- Support the Technical Compliance Manager with the development of the site FSQMS.

- Management of site’s Internal Audit programme.
- Management of the Traceability schedule.
- Management of customer complaints.
- Raise and drive closure of non-conformances relating to issues arising during External audits for partner Cell.
- Supports on Customer/Group Query responses.
- Organise, lead and complete the area Haccp studies.

Qualifications
- Intermediate level – HACCP.
- Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or relevant.
Essential
Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or relevant food manufacturing experience.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to short term demands.
Good team working skills and experience of working across multi disciplines.
Highly Computer literate.
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent in relevant technical discipline.
- Auditor qualification.
