Purpose of the RoleResponsible for assuring the site has controls of its processes and that Product Quality is maintained.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- SAP transactions/tracker completion. (Concessions, Product Holds, Date changes)
- Production of test packs and the issuing of packs or test pieces to the site.
- Completion of internal audits (e.g. Process Compliance & Process pack audits).
- Carrying out daily line walks and issuing Be Food Safe observations as required.
- Completion of process verification checks.
- Completion of Validations (e.g. Metal Detectors, X Rays)
- Escalating non-conformances as required.
- Assisting with investigations or corrective action completion for non-conformances/customer complaints as required.
- Carrying out plant training assistance as required.
- Swabbing as required (Plant Swabs, Hand Swabs, etc).
- Any other reasonable tasks, as requested by the QA Manager.
Person Specifications
Technical skills/Qualifications/Experience
Essential:
- Intermediate level – HACCP.
- Qualification in Food Science, Quality, Hygiene or relevant
- Food manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to short term demands.
- Good team working skills and experience of working across multi disciplines.
- Leadership skills
Desirable:
- Degree or equivalent in relevant technical discipline.
- Understanding of statistical process control.
- Driving Licence
