My client, operating within engineering and automation, is looking to add an Electrical Design Engineer to their team to develop within the department.
Attributes / Qualifications
- Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
- Have previous experience carrying out electrical design (although a Graduate may also be considered)
- Have experience in a Controls and Automation environment
- Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan or SolidWorks Electrical
- Excellent problem solving capabilities
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Working within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering team
- Producing detailed design specifications for control systems
- Producing test specifications as required
- Liaising directly with customers as part of the projects
