We are working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Gloucestershire who are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen their quality function. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to play a key role in driving quality and continuous improvement across the site.
The Role:
- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations while ensuring products, processes, and systems meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or similar)
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions
- Investigate internal and customer quality issues
- Support production and engineering teams with quality improvements
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits
- Manage non-conformances and quality documentation
- Liaise with suppliers on quality-related matters where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment
