ROLE- Machinist \\n\\nLOCATION- Stoke \\n\\nTERM- Permanent \\n\\nSALARY- £35,000- £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\\n\\nMy client works within the engineering manufacturing sector, and they are looking to take on a CNC Machinist, on a permanent basis, in the Stoke area.\\n\\nThe CNC / Machinist will ideally have the following attributes:\\n\\nTime served Engineer (NVQ/ Apprenticeship/ City & Guilds qualification ideally)\\nIdeally 2 years’ experience or more in a similar engineering manufacturing / machine shop environment\\nExperience of working with CNC, milling, turning or manual grinding\\nExperience of working with Fusion360 programming or 5 axis machining would be desirable\\nBe able to work with MS Office\\nGood communication skills\\nHave the ability to read/ interpret engineering drawings\\nThe ability to work well alone as well as part of a team \\n\\n The CNC / Machinist role will involve:\\n\\nBeing responsible for the machining of one off engineering components\\nWorking to the right standards and specifications\\nInterpreting engineering drawings\\nWriting CNC machining programs (turning/ milling/ grinding)\\nHelping to train apprentices or less experience team members\\nAssisting with other general manufacturing activities\\nHelping to drive the companies Continuous Improvement program\\nMaintaining high standards \\n\\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.\\n\\nMust have a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship Level 3 to C7G or NVQ Level 3\\nCNC or manual grinding experience (must be universal or similar if manual) or CNC milling/turning with some grinding experience
