My client works within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team, on a permanent basis, in the Hampshire area.
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:
- Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems – Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar
- Any CAD skills would be beneficial
- Have excellent hands-on capabilities too with panel building and wiring
- Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve:
- Working within the existing engineering technical team
- Being involved in automation projects
- Working with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
- Working on PLC’s, panels, wiring
- Producing the required technical documentation
- Interfacing with customers when required
