The Quality Engineer will ideally have the following:
Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems
Experience with quality tools such as root cause analysis, 8D, FMEA, and control plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
Experience with internal and external audits
Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems
The Quality Engineer role will involve:
Supporting and maintaining the company’s ISO 9001 QMS
Conducting internal audits and preparing for external audits
Investigating quality issues and implementing corrective actions
Liaising with production and engineering teams to ensure compliance and drive improvements
Reviewing and updating quality documentation and procedures
Monitoring quality performance and generating reports
Supporting customer and supplier quality issues
