Job Description

Job Title: Product Design Engineer\\nLocation: Hemel Hempstead\\nSalary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum\\n\\n We are currently seeking a Product Design Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing company based in Hemel Hempstead. This role is ideal for someone early in their design career who has already gained valuable post-graduation industry experience and is ready to develop further within a supportive technical environment.\\n\\n Key Responsibilities:\\n\\nCreate and develop product designs from concept through to manufacture.\\n\\nProduce 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.\\n\\nMaintain and manage design data using PDM systems (PDM Vault experience preferred).\\n\\nSupport engineering change processes and technical documentation control.\\n\\nWork closely with production and project teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.\\n\\nAssist with prototype builds, testing, and product improvements.\\n\\nSkills & Experience Required:\\n\\nSolidWorks experience is essential.\\n\\nMinimum of 1 year post-graduation industry experience in a technical design role (essential).\\n\\nExperience with PDM Vault systems preferred.\\n\\nStrong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.\\n\\nExcellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.\\n\\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\\n\\nRelevant qualification in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.\\n\\nIf you are a motivated Product Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career, please apply or contact Charlotte White at (url removed) for more information
