My client works within engineering and manufacturing and they are looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team, on a permanent basis, in the Hampshire area.

The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Apprenticeship / HNC/ HND / BTEC / City & Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Have knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems – Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar
  • Any CAD skills would be beneficial
  • Have excellent hands-on capabilities too with panel building and wiring
  • Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

The Graduate Electrical Engineer / Graduate Controls Engineer role will involve:

  • Working within the existing engineering technical team
  • Being involved in automation projects
  • Working with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
  • Working on PLC’s, panels, wiring
  • Producing the required technical documentation too
  • Interfacing with customers when required
