ROLE- Mechanical Engineer LOCATION- Bristol TERM- Permanent SALARY- £40,000- £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) My client designs and manufactures specialist equipment and precision parts. They are looking to take on a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Bristol on a permanent basis. The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Mechanical Engineering / Design / Development position Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar Experience working with machinery, sheet metal and precision components would be ideal Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment Be proficient using 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor etc. Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proficient using MS Office Excellent organisational skills and time management skills Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team The Mechanical Engineer role will involve: Completing detailing, documentation and assembly drawings Reverse Engineering, developing products, testing and prototypin…
